Manufacturing Process of VIVA
Quartz is an engineered stone product which can be used in virtually any indoor surface location. You can even install quartz on walls and floors. Quartz counters are made of 95% natural quartz granules and 5% resins and colorants. The natural properties of quartz crystals and the engineering process give quartz countertops many valuable benefits and characteristics.
It is highly resistant to scratches, bacteria and stains. Hence, it is perfectly safe for contact with food and very easy to maintain.
Feeding & Mixing
Raw materials are fed into the mixture and blended together. Molding- The mixture is then poured into a mold and formed into slabs of 130x65 inches.
Molding
The mixture is then poured into a mold and formed into slabs of 129x65 inches.
Pressing
The slab is then compacted by a special vacuum and vibration process at a pressure of 100 tons
Curling
The slab is carefully put into the curing oven where it is heated, giving them the ultimate strength and solidity.
Polishing
The slabs are measured and calibrated to the required thickness and surface is polished to a perfect finish.
Labelling
Each slab is then marked and labelled with all relevant information.
